Tsanko Hantov competed in the 2000 Olympic Games and won a Bronze Medal at the 2001 World Championships in the Modern Pentathalon. Tsanko was National Senior Champion in 1998 and National Junior Champion in 1995 and 1996 in Mens Epee in Bulgaria, and continues to be an "A" rated fencer. Tsanko has coached fencing for more than 7 years, and has extensive experience training fencers at all levels. Tsanko has been the head coach at Windy City since 2005. He is a graduate of the National Sports Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Ian Lindblom has been a competitive fencer for more than a decade, fencing in over 100 national and international events. While in high school, Ian trained at the Fencers Club in New York. He earned national rankings at the Y14, Cadet, Junior, and Senior levels from 1999 through 2003, and he was ranked in the top 200 in the world by the FIE. During college, Ian was a member of the 2006 NCAA-champion Harvard Fencing team, which also won the 2005 and 2006 Ivy League championships.
Ian joins Windy City as an assistant coach and will be training to resume national-level competition.
