Classes and Lessons

Classes

Registration for all fencing classes is through our partner, the Menomonee Club.  New sessions usually begin in September, November, March/April, and June.  Classes are held in our dedicated fencing room at Menomonee Club's Drucker Center on the near North side of Chicago.  Please contact us if you have any questions about the classes or which class to sign up for.

Private Lessons

For the fencer who wants to improve more quickly and especially for those ready to start competing, private one-on-one lessons are essential.  In a private lesson, the coach focuses on mastering basic skills to build a solid foundation, and on developing new, more advanced skills to be practiced in group bouting and competitions. One short private lessons each week is included as part of a team membership, but an additional half-hour private lesson with a coach once a week is recommended, as well.

Please talk to or e-mail the head coach, Tsanko Hantov, about private lessons.
